BUILD WITH STEEL Workshop at Białystok University of Technology

On 13 December 2017, the STEEL BUILDING workshop was held at the Faculty of Construction and Environmental Engineering at the Białystok University of Technology.

Students were welcomed by the Vice-Dean for student affairs dr inż. Małgorzata Aldona Lelusz and dr hab. Eng. Jerzy K. Szlendak. Then a few words about the assumptions of the BUILD WITH STEEL Program were said by a representative of one of his Partners – Piotr O. Korycki, Blachy Pruszyński Menagment Board Proxy for Implementation.

During the workshops, there was also the subject of steel structure design using the TEKLA STRUCTURES software, which was discussed by Marcin Cabała from CONSTRUSOFT sp. z o.o. Presentations were also given by research workers of the Białystok University of Technology – dr hab inż. Mirosław Broniewicz and mgr inż. Marcin Gryniewicz. At the end of the meeting dr inż. Wioleta Barcewicz from the Warsaw University of Technology said about designing steel structures using SKILLS training modules.
