Steel Day – 14.11.2018 – Sheraton Hotel Warsaw
The first edition of Steel Day, which took place on November 14th at the Sheraton Hotel in Warsaw, was a great success. Over 120 participants representing very diverse branches of the construction industry appeared at the event. In addition to architects and designers, the meeting was attended by representatives of the steel constructions manufactures, representatives of institutes and industry associations as well as lecturers and students of technical universities. The Steel Day began with a short presentation of the BUILDING WITHC STEEL program, which was made by Wioleta Barcewicz, PhD, from the Warsaw University of Technology.
During the all-day Conference a lot was said about innovations in the steel industry, presence of steel in modern architecture and protection of steel structures against corrosion.
