BUILD WITH STEEL Workshop – Poznań University of Technology

27.10.2025 r. odbyły się warsztaty BUDUJ ZE STALI na Wydziale Inżynierii Lądowej i Transportu Politechniki Poznańskiej.

The meeting began with a presentation by Wojciech Ochojski (ArcelorMittal Steligence). The presentation, which covered the basics of steel production and contemporary grades of this material, provided an extensive introduction to the broad field of steel construction subject.

The lectures were continued by Wiktor Ciecieląg (Construsoft Polska), who discussed the use of BIM software (Tekla Structures) in steel structure design.

The workshop concluded with a presentation by a representative of the Poznań University of Technology, Katarzyna Rzeszut (professor at Poznań University of Technology), who discussed the latest steel solutions in the railway industry – modular railway stations, whose advantages include flexibility, energy efficiency, and environmental friendliness.
