Site visit on the CD Projekt campus – January 24th, 2025

On January 24, 2025, BUILD WITH STEEL had the opportunity to visit the construction site of the CD-Projekt campus in Warsaw. A group of students from the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Warsaw University of Technology took part in the event.

The new CD Projekt building was erected on the premises of the former FSO Żerań plant. In addition to office space, the investment also includes a garage with a recreational area, which will be located on the roof.

The modern and extremely flexible space of the newly constructed complex is to enable, if necessary, a change in the way the building is used. The whole is distinguished by its aesthetic values and unique approach to the issues of ecology and sustainable development.

The meeting began with a presentation devoted to SKANSKA S.A. projects, which was given by Katarzyna Kuśmierczyk. Representatives of the WSP Polska design office: Krzysztof Bielazik and Martyna Kałużka, then spoke about the details of the implementation of the new CD Projekt building.

During the meeting, a representative of ArcelorMittal Steligence – Dr. Maciej Chrzanowski also spoke and talked about the solutions proposed by the company – the use of ArcelorMittal products, such as Angelina openwork beams, allowed for reducing the weight of the building, its impact on the environment and shortening the construction time. Then, Aneta Kletkiewicz said a few words about the fire protection used in the building.

In the next part of the meeting, the Students were shown around the campus. Details of the implementation were presented by Construction Manager Marcin Michalak. The participants saw the office space of the building, the roof available to CD Projekt employees and the impressive multimedia room, located in the center of the building.

We would like to thank CD Projekt S.A. and Skanska Polska S.A. for the opportunity to organize the meeting. We would like to thank Ms. Katarzyna Kuśmierczyk and Mr. Marcin Michalak for their time devoted to the PW Students.
